Special Requests for Off-Topic threads I've noticed several off-topic threads over the past week or so, that contained special requests to leave them there regardless. Please chill out on this. If you absolutely need a specific group of people to see your message, you can always orgnote them or email them instead.
The different forums are in place to keep all the threads on this site broken down into several basic groups, to make it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for. Making special exceptions defeats this purpose. I understand certain groups of you only frequent certain forums, but if we start catergorizing threads by orq cliques, its going to make the site very confusing. Could you please move this to the General Discussion forum so the right people can see it

Although in all seriousness I think people do it because there are a couple of mods who move threads to the wrong forum sometimes. I think you know who I'm talking about.

If you feel a thread(s) was moved to the wrong forum, and you're not real fond of the particular moderator that did it, use the "Report Message To Moderator" link instead. When you use that, we all recieve a notification of the issue.

I just noticed that whenever people dispute a thread being moved it's usually been by one moderator. There have been times when I couldn't figure why they were moved to where they were. I probably shouldn't have said anything as I personally haven't had any problems and there are already threads dealing with the issue.

I agree too. That is kinda stupid making a thread directed at one person. What would be the point of org notes if that's the case.

we wouldn't have this problem if people would just stop creating threads. duh. "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you."

A suggestion :
If you have a thread that you want, for instance, everyone in General Discussion to see, but the thread's in another forum, and it's really, really important to you that other people see it, why not make a big deal about it and direct people to it using your signature line. That way, no matter where you post on the site people have the chance to link to your extremely important thread. Well, it's what I'd do anyway. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
