I've been trying to find a solution to this, but no luck so far...
....so same help would also be much appreciated..... In the mean time if I stumble on the reason you'll be the first to know. It'll be somethin' really simple..... like me

I had a problem recently with pics randomly not showing up on this site, as well as many other sites. I found out it was caused by a download manager I installed and later removed. It left behind some settings in my registry that caused problems whenever I viewed pages that were dynamically generated.
I dont have the specific registry info on hand ( I saved it on my work computer ) but I will post it here when I go back into work. Its worth a try...

Heres the instructions I found on another web site...
Open Regedit Open \HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\PROTOCOLS\Name-Space Handler\ Delete the keys "http", "https", and "ftp" Leave the 'mk' key The mk key is created by Windows and the others are created by getright 4.5, or some other dnld manager. (Because I don't recall ever installing getright) All you gotta do is from the Start menu, choose Run then type "regedit" and hit OK. You'll see some folders listed to the left. You just navigate to the proper registry key by following the path listed above. In other words, you would first open the "HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE" folder, and inside that would be a folder called "SOFTWARE", and inside that would be a folder called "Classes", and so on. An easier way to get to it would be to launch Regedit, then from the "Edit" menu choose "Find" and do a search for the phrase "Name-Space Handler". That will take you right to the folder where you can delete the keys listed above.

Just tried that....it's obviously not the root cause of my problem as all I have is "mk", but I appreciate your trouble and help all the same. Thanks I'll keep trying
