Is it possible to have an adults only area so kids & those who are offended dont see this stuff but the people who enjoy it can still chat about it? I know that its a small detail but this thread is from March. My views on the open nature of the org has changed since this as has most people's. | This is so stupid guys. What the hell has Cloud9's threads offering his music for your listening pleasure have to do with him having a problem with some of the crap that has been floating around here. Almost every day we have atleast one person who post about a free download that is available. Atleast Cloud9's music is influenced by P. I personnally love to hear his new stuff when he puts em out there for us to hear. Just like I enjoy hearing the downloads that are posted. It's music that brings us all here anyway. Isn't it?
While I enjoy some of the stuff that is started around here some of it is just stupid and offensive to me. But you know what? To each his own. If you don't like it don't read it and don't respond to it. Hell report it to the moderator if the itch hits ya. Lots of love to each and everyone of you!  | |

Isn't it?Here's the thing. What his threads have to do with his complaint about the "crap" floating around here is that his threads about his music are a part of the crap. Instead of threads initiating a conversation (which, admittedly, he does from time to time), he's basically just posting an advertisement for himself. And whether or not he's inspired by Prince should have no bearing on him posting in the "Prince: Music and More" forum, or his previous transgressions of cross-posting that stuff to EVERY forum. All I'm saying is that he's got a lot of nerve complaining about the topics around here when he's clogging it up with self-promoting stuff that most people couldn't give a rat's ass about. While I enjoy some of the stuff that is started around here some of it is just stupid and offensive to me. But you know what? To each his own. Aaron, I was not talking about the date of my last song thread, Im talking about the date of this very thread where you are accusing me of complaining. Im am not denying the fact that I posted my music a few days ago but I am trying to establish that this complaint is an old complaint from before I even had a site & was fairly new to the org. Im not complaining about the crap as personally I no longer read threads that dont interest me. Thats how its gotta be if we're all gonna post openly here & get along at the same time. We all have conflicting interests &, as they say, one mans rubish is another mans gold. I understand that for some reason, you are offended by my posts, but some people are not & you have to admit that its not fair for me to be persecuted for posting about something I am interested in & the same should apply to everyone here.
