As many as it takes to make the air fresh.

Really tho, if we loose any1 surely it will be their own fault. I cant see the mooderators banning sum1 for no reason.

i think people might be taking the ORG and themselves a bit too seriously when they have to announce to the world how they feel slighted by something someone posted or didn't post.

it's a good thing to take a break from this website once in a while, y'know?

I think lots of folks on the Org need to grow a little thicker skins. If you are having a problem, take a break for a while (I did!). There's no need to let folks on a friggin' Prince fan site upset you overly much. It should be about having a good time.

If someone upsets you to the point that you want to leave, just take some time away from it. To remove yourself permanently does no real good.

It's true. We need to quit loosening our Orgers. Eventually they're going to get so loose that their limbs are gonna fall clean off, like some kind of old mannequin that fell off a truck. We must not loose any more Orgers. STOP IT.

The OrgtastiKs

They are thirteen, one more than the 12 apostles. And they are beautiful, witty and prolific. Always together, they bond in the chatrooms of the Prince community, exchanging recipes, rumors and boots late at night or early in the morning. The first question of the day is always "Who do we don't like today?" and is invariably followed by the "Newbie of the day" debate. Those who are disliked see their threads mysteriously go without response, while the chosen newbies top the forums no matter how lame the thread and exhausted the topic.

I know their leader. He is a genius and a control-freak, usually presiding over the chatter with Buddha-like serenity, but also capable of the greatest agitation and anger. His tantrums are legendary -- many have compared him to a furious housecat thrown in a bath of cold water. Whatever you do, do not cross him.

His closest advisers are a genial everyman and a discreet beauty. The former is known to decide life changing matters by the amount of foam in his beer, not unlike a gypsy reading the tea leaves at the bottom of a cup. The latter is terminally intuitive -- some have compared her to a Star Trek empath, with good reason. The three often retreat to a private Yahoo chat to make the trickier decisions. Theyoften emerge from these meetings with red faces, having obviously upset each other in the struggle to choose the right path. By the time their faces return to their normal color, an unshakable consensus has set in. Everyone thinks as one and forgets whatever objections they raised. Unity is their foremost strength. Anyone who dares to break from the group is summarily expelled and some even lose their jobs. The Orgtastiks would act as one or would not be.

You are probably not safe reading these revelations. As for me, my Orglife would probably be over shortly after I press Save were it not for cracking Aero's password. I may be brave but I'm not stupid. The Orgstatiks cannot get me. And if they go after Aero, I know he'll unleash his own secret powers and who knows? Maybe that will be the end of the Org Thirteens.

The replies that follow should give you some clues as to the identity of the Orgstatiks. Be very careful -- they may smile and comfort, but they are a wild pack.

If people could just lighten up and not get caught up in the unnecessary drama then they would still be here. And they all come back anyway. shrug

It is sad that we loose the best..

ANd it is unfortunate that people think it is ok to be mean spirited to others.
Via, nasty threads, under the guise of being this wonderful spiritual person..

Not everyone has thick skins, and they shouldn't have to develop them..

I hope someday that we can find some middle ground... I miss them all.

Except for 2the9s

Well, I think that people would benefit from developing thicker skins. I agree, some folks are just plain mean, but I find the best way to handle it is to not let them get to you. "Non Illegitimi Carborundum" (don't let the bastards get you down). That, more than anything, is my point. I would rather see the folks I like shrug off the nastiness, rather than leave. If all the good folks leave, then there will be nothing but meaness left.

I also think there are a few folks who are rather sardonic in their humour, and that sometimes comes across as being mean. They don't mean harm, but some might take it that way. I've been trying, in my own life, to only cut up in this manner with folks that I know will take it for the joke that it is. 2the9s is a perfect example. Everyone gives him a hard time, but he dishes it out just as well. There is an understanding that it is all in good fun. I love to cut on him, because I know he'll come back with something witty. Not all people can joke like that, though, so I try not to do it with just anyone.
