People of Manchester (UK) Hi,
I am holding a monthly 'Funk' evening at the Abbey Bar in Stockport starting on Thursday 29th of June. It will be a night dedicated to all that is funky, James brown, EWF, George clinton, Sly and the family stone, Ohio Players, Prince....etc etc.... Admission is £1 and there will be loads of drinks promotion/offers on. Sorry if this post sounds a little vauge but it was only decided today that the event would actually be going ahead. If u are interested at all, feel free to send me an orgnote and i'll be more than happy to answer your questions. p.s feel free to send/post ideas of what songs u would like to hear. And Me! But 29th June is a Tuesday? Do you mean July 1st? Yeah, must be the 1st. As i stated in my initial post, it has only just been given the go-ahead so details are sketchy as of yet.
