If anyone here is familiar with the new local tv show "We B Jammin", which is a show designed 4 Detroit talent looking 4 a forum 2 perform, please be sure 2 check it out!! It airs on Saturday nite (or early Sunday at 1am or 2am. Please check your local listings) Me and a girl from my church are doing an original song that she, myself,and her friend wrote called "thank u father". I produced the song, and it kinda has a Princely flavor 2 it, only in the fact that it meshes many musical styles in2 one, and expands what people think gospel music should sound like. We've gotten some criticism 4 it from people who think it's "2 funky", or that the guitar solo is "2 rocked out" 2 be a gospel song. We're not an official group, but the name we are performing under is called "Highly Favored" Please b sure 2 check it out. Peace! |
