Thanks to all who showed up for this event. It turned out to be a really great time! Very surreal seeing Purple Rain in that room... the very first time its EVER been shown all the way through in the club! Consider yourselves VERY lucky to have been there. Great to see you all groovin to the new disc too!

all i'ma say is this: come june 15th, people BETTER stay in the fuckin club till the event ends. seems like folks just bounced right after purple rain went off and all the copies of musicology were passed out/sold. it was damn near bare when i left, i just stepped in my front door about 10 minutes ago. 
other than that--it was nice seein folks again. it was really surreal cuz they were showin first ave. '83 on the big screen after the movie was finished...i was like "ooh!" and folks were cheerin everytime first ave. was on the screen durin pr...and of course, there were guys hootin n'shit when apollonia showed her tits.  nobody gave p's close-up ass shot any love....'cept me.
oh yeah--and i got to meet hiienkelte tonight! i met a new orger, yay!!! it was nice talkin to ya, i was laughin at you and that lady...what was she sayin about michael jackson?
