Purplelectricity is 19+. It's in an adult nightclub, Revival, which is always 19+. There will be glam slam martinis. If U're under 19, I'm sorry, but that's how bars are in Ontario.

Okay, so it's Mishell, leosqtpie, MadeUpName, and me. I thought there were others from this site attending....

QriousChild, if you're in Toronto and you like Prince, this is the place to be. It appears that other Toronto area org-ers are just not posting that they intend to go to Purplelectricity. In fact, I've run into NPGMC members who only found out about the event because I was pushing flyers to them while they waited in line for a club! (i.e., Purplelectricity has been listed several times at the NPGMC over the last month).

There have been 1000 posters on the streets of Toronto over the last 6 weeks; advance tix in 6 stores; a listing in this week's NOW; and lots of press releases and media kits in the hands of the media. There will be many non-orgers there, because they're the ones who are showing signs of life. (!!!) There seem to only be around 10 active Toronto orgers these days.

Grand door prize is 2 tix to see Prince at the ACC on July 27th. Plus, a brand new Musicology poster hot off the press from Sony Music Canada. Other door prizes are copies of Musicology, and other CDs and DVDs.

Arrive too late (after 11) and you won't get in. Doors open at 8 with a 30 minute glimpse of Lovesexy Live. Capacity of Revival is around 500.

This is my last posting until after Purplelectricity. If you want to meet me, look for the tall, skinny guy with the pony tail, black shirt, and grey leather pants.

I loved the Prince Party!!!!!

The video footage was great, the music was excellent and overall, it was a nice fan gathering.
I'm really looking forward to the next one which apparently takes place on June 30th.

I had a great time at the party as well... won a door prize, Musicology CD which I already had but passed onto someone in my party who didn't. Though I kept the free ticket to the next party that came with it.... cuz I don't doubt I'll make it to that one too.

I was told that the party was going finish at 2am. A lot of people had left then so we did also.... right after Corey played Housequake. We should spread the word about the upcoming party on the 30th of June, that way we can party til much later.

Aside from gin, did anyone try the drink specials?? How about that Little Red Corvette? Two of my friends tried the 'Erotic City' and the 'Purplelectricity' drinks and both said they were pretty good.
