can't really understand the negative reaction here.
As i remember,the last prince event taking place in israel was a prince party ,way back at the time before rainbow children came out,at the G Spot in tel aviv.
I was asking around for another party since then , without much luck.

As for this event:
The lecture is part of a series about modern music,taking place at caffe tam every monday.

it's taking place at the front part of the place,not the tiny back "bar".
although,the front is also not too big...i guess this is why you think the place sucks?


I don't see what purim got to do with this event, But you can come all dressed up as the lill' guy if you like

by the way.i am not a promoter of the place...just wanted to let you guys know about it.

Sorry pusherman,but there is no other choice i know off.
Again, this is part of an on going series of lectuers that seems to draw a lot of crowd to the place.
i'm sorry that your personal problems with the manager\the place prevents you from coming.
If the place was that bad it wouldn't be full of people each monday...

I dunno.. I got dragged to that dive a couple of times.. and it really sucked. Didn't stay long.
There is no place to park and once I got my car towed and had to pay over 700nis

I still don't understand why they are doing it there..
Is the lecture going to be about how Prince has a reputation for not paying his workers?

since there are only are a handful of us diehards in Tel Aviv.. (and most of them hang out at Moses' movie loft) you might want to reconsider. Unless you have a deal with the owners who are organizing it.

Hi,
Just wanted to tell that yesterday evening was great fun.
the lecture (which was more of a screening of live gigs and rereties) was great and informative.
Of course die hard fans knew most of the stuff,but i think nir made some people go home with a new intrest in prince.especially those who know him only from his 80's 90's era.

All in all it was a good night out.
Oh ye,and the place really doesn't "suck" as you said and there were no parking problems as well...

Loking forward for a prince party at the G-spot....
(which pusherman probably gonna diss off as a horrible place to have a party in,the drinks are expensive,the parking is bad,the air condition too weak,the floor is sticky bla bla bla...)

Mmmm.. haven't been in the G-Spot since the summer..
This music is pretty good there.. and its a nice packed house after 2am
But the place smells like Urine/BO/& Ammonia
