U R cordially invited 2 attend The Detroit Crawl's first event of the new year, a rock 'n' funk bowling nite with all your fellow motor babies this Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Garden Bowl, America's oldest bowling center since 1913.

Since it's been very cold and very snowy and icey in Metro Detroit, what better way to get the blood flowing and our bodies warmed up than a few frames of bowling.

Located at 4140 Woodward Avenue in Downtown Motown, the Garden Bowl is in the Majestic Entertainment Center. The Majestic is 10 blocks north of the Fox Theatre and Comerica Park / Ford Field, and five blocks south of the DIA.

Lanes cost $14 per group and shoe rental is always $2 per person. We will be able to munch on Sgt. Pepperoni's Pizza and drinks throughout the nite while bowling to the funky sounds of Prince and his court.

Arrive before 7pm in Garden Bowl's main entrance and we will bowl until 10pm or so. Afterwards we will all move over across the street to Union Street Saloon for some great conversation and to catch up on all things paisley. Union Street is located at 4145 Woodward, across the street from The Majestic.
