Rock Hall of Fame? Is anyone planning to go to the ceremony to see Prince inducted to the Hall of Fame? Any clubs? Can a sista get a little info. here? New to the joint by the way.. If you are in the music industry and have a connection then you will not mind the $1,000 a plate dinner and ceremony. If you do not have the $1,000 then maybe you will be in Cleveland at the Rock Hall with all of us who will be there for the simulcast and afterparty. | |

If u are in NYC, there is a cover band... Rhythm Nation, performing at BB Kings on 3/15/04. I have heard them B4 and they arepretty good. the tix are $8.. check out ticket master for more info. Good Luck,, | |

As of right now the Rock Hall simulcast to Cleveland from the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan looks like it will not take place.
There is some problem with corporate funding for the simulcast. Take a look at this thread over in Prince Music and More -- [w] http://www.prince.org/msg/7/75373 -- for additional info. Keep your fingers crossed that the simulcast will be resureected. I hear that the Rock Hall executive that runs the show in Cleveland is a huge fan of Prince. Hope we can convince him to help host the simulcast and afterparty in Cleveland. | |

As of right now, a lot of Motor Babies from the Detroit Crawl will be in attendance, so there ya go. With all of this emailing and posting I am sure you will see other members from groups in Toronto/London as well as Chicago. People are willing to do the work as well as make an effort to be in Cleveland March 15.
