Two of my daughters who are in the Air Force are fans of Prince.

One is at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Ms and told me that she mentioned to her commanding officer that she had been to Paisley Park several times. She said that everyone there was totally excited and impressed! If Prince comes on the radio, they turn it up. woot!

The other is in the Air Force Guards 148th Fighter Group. Once when word of a performance at the Park was heard, I left for Chanhassan early. I told the kids that there might be a performance and to try to make it and to leave early if they could come. There was a long line and I just made it in. The Park was filled to capacity and the doors were closed.

The room was packed and we were wild as we watched Prince play on stage. Then he started asking people to come up to dance. The guards were picking people from the crowd. At one point in the dim lit room, I thought I recognized someone onstage as a friend of my daughters'. Then I noticed her other friend, and then I saw her. Prince was right there next to them playing his guitar. dancing jig

Later when I asked her how she managed to get in since I knew the doors had been closed, she smiled. She said that she pleaded with the guard to let her in because 'her Mommy was in there and she needed to tell her something.' He must have been a really nice guard. nod
