Hello again

Im putting togther an Australian Fam database for all states.

From this, all Australian fams can put their name down for where they represent, so it's easy to hook up with people within your own state.

Also, for the other states that aren't getting a show, but are making their way to the east coast for one of the 3 city shows, they can hook up with other fams from that state.

This is the list so far. I do apologise if I have missed anyone, Just add your name to this thread, and the state u live in, and I will add u to the list.

Next to each name, I have included an asterix (*) which donates which concert you will attend. More than one star of the same colour indicates you are attending more than one show for that city.

Blue * = Fan Attending Melbourne Show
Red * = Fan Attending Sydney Show
Green * = Fan Attending Brisbane Show

SYDNEY FAN UPDATE:

Im going to sort out with Joshy & Derek the pre show meet up pretty soon for the Sydney show.

First offer was for "JB's Bar & Grill" (opposite SEC). Small bar, has snooker table, but again there was a gangland murder there about a year ago. Not worried about that, just thought it would be a good idea to mention the 'history 'of the place.

So, the second option was for "One World Sport" bar Darling Harbour (200 metres down from SEC), but I just found out, "OWS" will be official home of The All Blacks NZ rugby team during World Cup. Might get a bit crowded there.

There are plenty more options, one being "The PumpHouse" next to SEC.

If anyone has a preference to any of these (or somewhere different), just let us know and we can take it into concideration.

Hiya!

This is my FIRST post on the org, ever! Having said that, I've been a guest on here for absolutely ages, but had never felt the burning need to get a login name. But, I honestly couldn't resist joining in the excitement of the upcoming shows, and letting you know that I'll be at the Brisbane gig... so you can add my name to that list. Thanks! (Wish I could be at them all, but the $$$ factor is dictating otherwise unfortunately).

I've been a Prince fan since I was 9 (Purple Rain), but have NEVER seen him live... so I CAN'T WAIT!!! (I lived in Europe for 5 years, but always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when Prince was in town... the ultimate frustration!). There's sure to be an amazing vibe at the concerts, as I know so many of us have waited so long!

Hope to see some of you there, - I'll be looking out for Ronny with the gigantic feather sticking out of his hat!

All that I have talked to regarding a Sydney location, Pumphouse is a clear winner. In the next 3 weeks, fans attending a Sydney show will get a confirmation as to the details of this meet up - Stay Tuned!

I think chances are good we'll have a 2nd show on Saturday if Friday sells out.

What about a Melbourne meet-up. Joshy has suggested PJs at Southbank on a thread at NPGMC.

Drink and game of pool would be cool before the show. Does anyone have any idea what time soundchecks normally are?

Yes, we are all going to meet at The Pumphouse Tavern B4 going 2 the soundcheck to get to know 1anotha. However, if we all have to line up to get our seats on the day, I suppose we join the line and we arrange to meet up at this "pre show party" with refreshments. We'll just wait to hear from NPGMC / Ticketek to see what the plan of attack is. Once this is confirmed, we will finalise the plans.
