Joshy has suggested PJs at Southbank. I'm good for that depending on the time of the soundcheck. In a couple of hundred years historians may discover that Prince's lyrics were written by Christopher Marlowe.

The Phoenix Bar is a good bar and is closer than Southbank.
How about there? When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

How about there? Where's that? It's on Flinders st, almost on the corner with Exhibition st. It would be the closest bar to the Rod Laver arena I would think (and a good one). It is about 500 metres away I would estimate. If people dont want to walk the trams go right by and take you to the front door. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
