Sydney fans, Check u're local bus stops out and around town. They have Prince posters advertising the concert. THEY'RE HUGE!

Roughly, they would be just over a metre wide, and close to two metres high.

They're in the ADSHELL bus stops, see if u can spot them (maybe we could get in touch with ADSHELL to see if they will give the posters away after they're finished with them???)

They look like the press ads for the concert.

Trying 2 org a gathering during INDY week, but it's so touristy on the GOLD COAST (we're all busy trying 2 entertain all u southerners ), makes it a bit hard.

Haven't heard from any1 in BRIZ itself, just 'naughtylittleraven' and a dude from BALLINA.

So anybody else out there in BRIZ or the GOLD COAST, lemme know what u wanna do...

Really looking forward to the Sydney show and also to the pre gig meet up for a couple of beers!
Saw Prince back in 95 in Manchester, UK when he came on stage and said 'Prince is dead' and played a show consisting of tracks from Gold Experience (which had yet to be released) and tracks from Come.
It was a great night with one highlight being 'Letitgo' but I know the upcoming shows are going to be different again and I can't wait!

Members who purchased Diamond Tickets 4 the Australian concerts thru the NPGMC website can pick up their tickets with a photo ID at the Box Office on the day of the show. Please arrive at the venue box office at 3:30pm. The tickets will be under the first and last name of the member who purchased them. Only the member can pick up these tickets. Some have posted at NPGMC saying they had recieved phonecalls from Ticketek just letting people know they are sending out letters within the next seven days.

I haven't had a phonecall yet. What's the status of all the other Aussies her for onstage or VIP? Call or No Call yet?

im getting a little anxious...but 2 weeks (WOOHOO) to go.
if we havent heard anything by next friday maybe il call ticketek and freak out. just a little...

A few days b4 the concert, im sending org notes to ALL the orgers above with a red * all the details of the meetup, location, times, etc. I will finalise the details then (and I will post what im wearing so that u will know who i am) Stay Tuned for that one.

Meetup will be easy anyhow, we got the location. When u get there, just look for the orgers who attended the Melbourne show wearing the tour t-shirts!

The Pheonix Bar is confirmed for Oct 21. I hope 2 get there around 1'ish (depends on work) in time to prime for the soundcheck from 4 pm!

Just to clarify 4 Melbourne Princegoers...so it's the Phoenix bar b4 the concert...is anyone going to return there after the souncheck and b4 the actual concert? Unfortunately finances only allowed me to get a measley gold ticket...so I won't be at the soundcheck but wanna hear all about it before the show! Also - do we have plans for an after party?

How is everyone going as far as being debited by Ticktek from their credit cards?

I got a phone call from them saying I had not enough credit on my VISA card

I went into total shock, knowing the money was on the account when i phoned them, leaving me only to assume VISA have taken money for fees, thus, not enough credit for tickets.

In a frantic rush, I transfered funds into VISA to cover it.

They then said "Ok, that's gone through alright now"

But then I checked the VISA balance over the phone, and they only debted HALF the amount. So I call back ticketek, to which they say:


"oh, we're taking a partial payment now, the rest will be debited in the next few days"

I hope everything works out!

Yeah, my VISA has been billed as well, looking forward to receiving the receipt and letter in the mail this week - though judging by the length of the process this probably won't arrive till mid next week aat which stage people will start to panic again!!!
