Hi guys,
I'm from Sydney, and have VIP tix to attend the first Sydney show. Hmmm, regarding meet up venues what about Home Bar?! Or even the Slipp Inn?  |

I'm going to both Melbourne shows and both Sydney shows.
Pumphouse sounds like a good meet up place for Sydney. 
Where should we meet in Melbourne? When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

i missed out on the npg tickets for the second prince show, was away, but might try to just get normal people tickets. when do they go onsale? | |

4 melbourne...either Young & Jackson's,across from Flinders St Station...then we get the tram down 2 the Arena.
OR there is a pub on the corner of little collins & (i 4get the street,but its at the top of little collins,on teh corner,30sec walk up from The Victoria Hotel) they r 2 nice joints...game of pool,a beer,then walk down & get the tram 2 the pre-show party & soundcheck. i guess they're the most convenient. (beer & pool at teh lil collins joint is pricey tho) NE1 else got suggestions 4 melbourne? i think i'll stay out of teh sydney plans anth' ...derek & urself can work that one out. i'll focus on arranging the melbourne meetups. also,r we going 2 have a meet-up b4 each of the melborune shows? or just oct 21st? suggestions welcome

Home & Slipp Inn are fine establishments, however, the location of choice at this point in time is "The Pumphouse Tavern", simply due to it's closness to the venue. We may have to line up that day to get our tickets, so it's up in the air at the moment untill we hear further word, but It's Pumphouse 4 the time being so we're close if we need 2 get there for any reason. Perhaps, if no aftershow takes place, Home or Slipp can be a choice 4 an afterparty 4 us all. All will be decided closer 2 the event - Hold tight y'all! For Melbourne I suggest the Phoenix Bar which is on Flinders st, almost on the corner with Exibition st. It's a really good bar and probably the closest.
It is not very well sign posted so you would hardly know it was there. The tram stops right out the front or you can walk (500 metres or so). I'm happy to go with the flow though and the other bars suggested by Joshy are fine. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

Another update here... now I am going to both Sydney shows, it seemed crazy not to as I would already be there for the first show. (and so my visa card gets hammered some more...)
By the way are any of the Adelaide people thinking of meeting up in Adelaide some time in the lead up to the Melbourne or Sydney shows? | |

Yeah, I did think about that after I made the suggestion! Pumphouse is definitely the best location for all of the reasons stated. We are going to have heaps of fun! Meetup Update!
Good 2 see Melbourne agree on a time and place 4 their meet up. Hope u all have fun, give us the lowdown on it all b4 u guys come up to Sydney. Brisbane? RonnyRon what's the latest? Sydney gathering: 
OK, for those that are unfamiliar, take a look at the above map. The Sydney Entertainment Centre is in blue, above that is a white strip. The section between Syd Ent Cent & Peir St(which is an overpass) The Pumphouse Tavern is there. Follow the path that leads from SEC to Darling Harbour and u will come across it. If u gone under an overpass with a waterfall, or passed the chinese gardens up to Tumbalong Park, You've gone too far! It's official address is: 17 little Pier St Darling Harbour, and as far as I know, it's number is: (02) 8217-4100 For those going to the Sydney concert, This will be the meetup location before the concert. More details will be posted soon (once we know concert start times etc, which if we don't, we'll go off the drill from the Melbourne concert goers and go from there) A few days before the concert, If u have a red star next to u're name above, I will Org note U with the full details so no one will miss out If anyone has any questions at all, just let me know.
