As far as hotels, there are quite a few options, depending on your preference... U could stay in SF, but the hotels downtown SF are over priced. I'd suggest staying outside the city in either South City (right by SFO), Daly City, Emeryville, or even Oakland (which is where I live), especially since Oakland is right in the middle between SF (the party) and Fremont (the BBQ)! I was thinking about taking a few days off to come to this. It sounds like it'll be lots of fun and I can finally get to see the San Fran/Oakland area. Never been to Cali so it'll be a new experience for this New Yorker or as some may say New Yawka.  I saw the list of hotels that were listed but I wanted to know about local transportation in the area also. What buses and/or trains run close to Studio Z and Lake Elizabeth? How late do they run?***************************************************

How late do they run?You will be welcomed with open arms, revelationsunshine!!! It will be much easier to take a cab in the downtown area where Studio Z is located. You can, however, take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit, our version of the subway train) to Fremont from SF! Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm ready for the parties!! I've got my hotel reserved and air booked. I'll be there for a week so I can experience the area a little more. I'm staying in the South of Market area (SOMA). Is this area ok? I've heard good and bad things about it. Should I book something in another area? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have been planning a trip up to Sonoma/Glen Ellen, most likely that weekend. It's the last weekend I am off... before starting the Fall Semester.
 What do you say... I try and make it, at least to the BBQ.   | |

Ummm, HI! Nobody really knows me here, I'm an NPGMC first year. I am however, local - live in Alameda, work in Berkeley and would love to check out these events. I have no problem hittin' the club, but is it cool if strangers just drop by the Q? I'm really interested in meeting some fam and will make sure the other Bay Area folk that I know from the club are informed.
