Hey bump Squad!

I rarely write reviews of the bump Squad events because to me, it would seem like I am blowing my own horn and I am definitely not Maceo Parker. But with this one, I will make an exception.

Arriving shortly before 3 P.M., I was greeted to a street load of stickers on cars and sexy license plates such as International Lover, and the one & only NPGGIRL. The music was bumping and the girls were thumpin.(Or is that the other way round?) Debbie put a HUGE flower banner out in the front to let everyone know they are at the place to be. The place was set up perfectly. The DJ had his own lil tent going on and a good sized dance floor was in place in front of him. Tables were set up with old (It's been 10 years, can we say vintage now?)Glam Slam goodies spread across the table with different things spread out on each table like Carmen Electra pins and other purple displays. Posters and standups of Prince joined us out in the yard. Food and drinks were everywhere to get your grub on, your drink on, and when you had more than enough to drink, get your groove on.

It was a nonstop party thru the day and when the DJ left at 6, the party was still going strong past 10. (That is the time I left so it went even longer.)
It was nice to see people conversing and for those of you who have never been to a bump Squad Q or Meet & Greet event, Prince is NOT the main point of conversation, but getting to know each other is. Heard topics such as wrestling, politics, work, and if that was a bottle of Smirnoff Ice in j7's pocket or is he just happy to see us?

This event was straight off the hook with old faces, NEW faces, young faces and a few people giving the Aunt Esther faces. If people made it inside the house, Prince videos were playing all day long like Lovesexy Live, Glam Slam Ulysses, the Beautiful Experience and even more.

First & foremost, I want to thank the people who attended. It was nice to see numbers over a 100 (off and on thru the day and night) again like our Rainbow Children Release party. Mad props from those that came from the Bay Area, San Diego, Arizona, Las Vegas, Denver, and even Texas. I appreciate everyone who also made the drive from wherever you are at in California to come & party with the rest of the Squad!

Krystina Paradise: Thank you for making the flyer and being in charge of the RSVP's and making sure their was not a ton of potato salad brought. Thank you for coming early and setting up.Your help and work was appreciated setting up the event. Much Love.

Sofia Blue Agave: Thank you so much for setting up and cleaning up along with providing what you could for the party. The Purple tablecloths and the tables along with glitter were set up beyond perfection. You are a hard worker and you shake what your momma gave you pretty well on the dance floor
too!
Everything you did on Saturday and the help you have provided myself and the bump Squad in the past has always been appreciated by me and the entire Squad. =-* Thank you.

Phil G.: Thank you for being the pimp you are and bringing giveaway prizes for the event! What you did was very cool and made the winners extremely happy. Thank you very much for everything and keeping Aunt Esther away from me. =-)

Dance Music Sex Romance! It was nice for once to be out in front of the DJ booth and having fun with the rest of y'll. Hope you had a great birthday Bobby because we here in LA sure did enjoy it.

Props and Pounds to Alan, Richard, Matt, James/setupkid, ChrisG, Karrie, Lawrence the Vampire, and AJ along with others for helping Krys and Sofia with the set up and the clean up.

Also, congratulations to Karrie G who will be xpecting a baby girl just in time for Christmas! You definitely gotta have a "Let's Have A Baby Shower" thang. Also, I hear people are throwing baby names at you left and right. Just don't name her Vanity or Apollonia O.K.?? Personally, I prefer Janelle, as in Janelle can bomb and hit u hard with the funk!
