-I was picked out of the crowd to be "Jim" in the VH1 Love 4 One Another (around the 6 minute mark). A guy walked up to me and said "The boss wants to use you." I followed him out to the lobby. While standing around all the lights and cameras, I heard a voice behind me ask what my name was. I turned around and I was chest to face (I'm 6'2) with Prince. I said Alex. He said "Now it's Jim." Then told me what I would be doing for the scene. I actually had a speaking part that was cut. I guess my "Yo", that Prince told me to say after being called by the receptionist, wasn't up to par. -One night when Brother Jules was spinning, I was dancing next to this beautiful woman (girl o' my dreams). We kept glancing at each other and smiling. I had no idea who she was at the time. After a bit, one of Prince's bodyguards walks over to her, whispers something, and then she follows him up the stairs to the catwalk where Prince was chilling. It was then that I realized she was Mayte. -I wasn't in the videos, but I was there for the Gold and Rock 'n Roll's Alive music video shoots. What are your stories?

I did a little write up a few years ago about the first party I went to. Probably easier to look at that thread: https://prince.org/msg/12/451091 . I went to nearly all the parties and shows from 92-97 and 2004-2016. So many great memories!
