Visited Paisley Park Today!

I visited Paisley Park for the second time today.

I have been visiting friends in Minnesota and afterwards made a solo trip/pilgrammage to Chanhassen.

Have been taking really long walks (6-7 miles) all over Chanhassen, enjoying all types of weather. What a gorgeous area! I have been playing Sherlock Holmes trying to locate the many acres Prince owned (which will sadly be developed). I may need Rogifan's help!? Is it the beautifully-wooded, deciduous forest across from P.Park that extends to Lake Ann and beyond to Lake Lucy? Adjacent to Lake Ann park?? No one in Chanhassen/PP seems to know!

Anyway, went back to Paisley for the VIP tour and it was emotional. BTW, PP looks SO much better than 3 years ago. Shout-out to Graceland! I loved visiting the SOTT room with many of his stage-wear with the TV monitor looping his SOTT performances; same for Lovesexy, Purple Rain etc. The 'baby blue' Bentley, purple Prowler and sexy white, sports-car/BMW were in the stage area all clean and shiny. (Bentley started at $164,000.) Many of Prince's stage clothes were situated around the stage.

The tour guide had surface knowledge which was disturbing, but the studios!!. Could not get into the inner control booths, but got into the outer sections of Studios A, B &C. Oh, my...The gorgeous wood panelling (expensive-looking), on the walls, beautiful ceilings. Studio B had a ping-pong table, 2 grand pianos, at least 20 expensive-looking microphones, guitars, floor-to-ceiling photos of Prince, Donna Grantis, Hannah Welton and Ida. The inner console area was tricked-out with cool recording equip., sofas, foot pedals, synths, organs, guitars, organs, etc. Studio C was very large with the same equipment. Some serious jamming went on in there. The guide said the big Westlake speakers were not enough for Prince. He liked to play music loud and low and would shake the windows in the adjacent bathroom!

How did a 27 y/o guy create all of this?? I'm still reeling.

PS: Orgers...they need some knowledgeable guides @ PP.

One more thing...I talked to the guide about the dismissal of Graceland. He said everyone, including his' 2 friends, Kirk and Trevor' are really excited about the new possibilities. I said it would be good for the executives to share their vision with us. He said he would pass it along. He seemed to agree.
