What to see in Minneapolis? Hey all. I’ll be visiting Minneapolis this summer and I was wondering if anyone can recommend any places not mentioned in the FAQ’s? I’m kinda bummed because The Orpheum Theater is no longer giving tours, the same goes for The Capital Theater. I’ve gotta buy tickets to see a band I’m not interested in just to get a foot into First Avenue (I’ve really considered telling the first employee I see “I have an appointment to see the manager” lol). Bunkers, Dakota etc all have disinteresting bands booked during the weekend I’m in town. I’m not really sold on the idea of driving to Henderson because the lake looks overgrown and unrecognizable. The murals... I could take or leave. I’ve done my research and I’m just feeling kind of blah about going. The only thing I’m really hyped to see besides Paisley is the new store at the airport. I’m going to drive past the former residences - but is there anything else? Has annoying come across any cool stores etc.? Not A Newbie, Just Reinvented | |

Search the site (search box upper right). This has been covered a couple of times (at least) since 2016 and there's a wealth of helpful information for ya. You're on your own w/ that "appointment" thing. They'll probably look at you like you're nuts. Not everyone there is as well versed per se as we are, and they're at work busy thinking about slinging drinks and collecting tips. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

I am going in 3 weeks (ultimate experience tour). After that I am going to Valleyfair  a cool amusement park not far from PP. |
