Hmm...I wonder what concert they’re going to use for the Armory show? And will it be the same band as last year? The one last year was from W2A. I thought it was really good. I’m guessing it will be a show from the 2000s, either Musicology, 21 Nights or something from 2010-2011. Paisley Park is in your heart

I was gonna ask that exact question about the movie at the Armory. I love those type of events! The music and the show on the screen is always a nice compliment. | |

Well the website for the concert says all ages so I’m assuming it’s going to be a show from his later years. That would make the most sense as it would include more of his catalog. So people are dropping a stack for this? I wish someone would convince me it's worth that. The concert does sound like a blast though. I'm just remembering paying $250 for 7 actual (legendary) Prince shows at Paisley back in 2002. Inflation, I tell ya. "That's when stars collide. I'm not 100% clear on all the later NPG configurations, but if I'm not mistaken, that's a lotta horns.
And yeah, I'm dropping a stack to go from the east coast. Just booked my flight a few minutes ago, actually. Airbnb cottage rented, GA track 2 ticket bought. Some of the group I'm going with are going for the 3rd year in a row, which I think says a lot. [Edited 2/9/19 14:20pm] And the MUSIC continues...forever... | |
