If you're in Los Angeles this weekend, I am DJ-ing an old school, retro dance party & meetup night; highlighting R&B, Funky Soul, Boogie, Electro Funk (and more) from the 1960s-1980s and beyond. I can't seem to figure out how to make this posting in formatted, easy-to-read paragraphs and posting the info in bullet points below:

While this is not strictly an all-Prince (and related artists) night, I never-ever play just one Prince song solo. Always two songs back-to-back and mixed. In the event Purple Hippies from the Org, Housequake, Bump Squad, Glam Slam & elsewhere introduce themselves, I immediately work into a 3-6 song mixed beats set of Prince music, including deep cuts and b-sides.
