Orginally it was going to be held in the L4OA room. Tickets sold out quickly, so they moved to the soundstage. Should be fun! Snow storm on the way today, though... TRUE BLUE |

OOPS there goes yet another missed opportunity for a fun night. Wow. If I wasn't homeless in Virginia, I'd be HAPPY to attend those parties. Snow and all. Yeah. Snow and all.

Could anyone who attended this dance party please give a report as to the turnout, what it was like, how long did it go, just anything you'd like to share about the night? I wasn't able to go to this event, but I'm hoping it was a success that drew a large enough crowd that more nights like this will be held more often. Thanks in advance An old soul | |

No parking was allowed at Paisley Park. Shuttle bus from downtown Minneapolis. Pre-party downtown from 6pm to 730pm. The event was sold out and was from 8m to a little past midnight. I would estimate 1000 people were there. The dance party was in the soundstage. Red Bull provided free specialty drinks, no alcohol. I wasn't that impressed with the DJ. He would stop the music and talk a bit. These DJs need to realize Prince has some great dance music beyond the 80s and represent! Still a good time. TRUE BLUE |
