finally got round to compiling a list of party's and get togethers over the last year. Ive tried to rate in some kind of order but just highlighted some memories

liverpool england the merchants bar 2017

This was the best. Packed, great atmosphere, superb sound system.

Best memory: dancing on the narrow tables to kiss and meeting fans on way to paisly park

manchester england ; rebellion bar 2017

went after seeing shalamar at the academy; who had been very good, that guy canstill dance those wonderful robotic moves. an way this prince night has a more underground feel,played sign o the times movie first, then DJ started with 7.

Best memory: probably not best sound system and bit muffled not as busy as liverpool.

tribute band in holmfirth picture dome: 2017 little village with a legendary village. Gary Numan playing soon but sold out. Excellent tribute band,musicianship,wonderful to listen to musicology playing live and the lead singer plays guitar

best memory:taking photographs of the range of prince t shirts

another prince tribute band mancheter academy 2017: around 2000 people, real prince fans, the band upped the funk

best memory: girl fight with six invoved: what a cat fight!

purplestardust: Manchester northern 1/4 england 2017. the dy from holland,with a gothic look: perfect for me, actually prince v bowie night

best memory: the electrics blue up during......hot thing.....!

tribue act : st helens2018 : not the best venue just not right.

gorilla: prince night DJ set manchester 2017: strange one really,loads of people, not many prince fans i dont think, night got better as pruple people stayed until the end...which was 4 am.

best memory: getting stamped on the hand by the love symbol..closest i get to a tatoo

deaf institute: manchester 2017 prince night

just the usual prince hits inbetween 80s stuff, lots of us complained but made most of it

also at the academy a group based in london; awful, jazz versions of prince, just wanted to get up and dance but told by staff no photos, no dancing, to arty for me...too polished..

so what next?

loads of gatherings, some prince/bowie, check them out

i have not been to many since since november due to a number of reasons...but making a comeback..... missed many in april.hoping to get to couple over next few weeks,

i dont watch the tributes to see anyonewho looks like prince or can dance like him, the musicology is more vital. Does anyone know aboit any other prince party nights in north england.....hope revolution come to the north of the uk...oh forget one..
