Just a thought that crossed my mind. I know it was his private area. And that is why they've kept it as such. However...I wonder, in time, if maybe now that the pictures are already out there anyway, and people have seen what a lot of the upstairs and his most personal spaces look like, will they open it for tours? Granted seeing a picture and actually being able to BE in that area is completely different. But I almost wonder if they will start tossing the idea around. (for a higher price of tour of course).

Yes, the whole property should be open, just like a National Trust house in the UK. I wouldn't spend all that money and time going to visit the US just for a 70 minute tour as it is now. However I think in a few years that will probably happen anyway.

I believe the 2nd floor is off limits.

Personally, I think they should. Why are the living quarters so sacred? If there was a ground zero, its the evelator area. When I was at PP last year, I knew where the evelvator was hidden, and even stopped at the fake wall for a moment of thought.

What would be off limits to Prince? His death spot? His bedroon? His vault? the dude didn't plan anything. He didn't care, otherwise he would have made plans.

Because that was his personal space where he could just unwind and relax and be shut off from the world. Can't some things be kept private though? However since the pics are released of some 2nd floor footage, it may be opened to tours over time. No he didn't make plans, but I don't think he would feel that his toilet, toothpaste or what type of toilet tissue he used would be of interest to anyone, but you do have some people that want all the little personal details though.
