Has anyone else just received the postponement email? I’m gutted, I was literally just about to jump in an Uber to catch my train from Birmingham to London! Took a days holiday from work which I can’t get back and booked train tickets which aren’t refundable. I know it’s not her fault, I’m mainly gutted that I won’t get to meet her as I was so excited, and I have no holiday left so if it’s reschediled for a weekday i won’t be able to go.

I’m the opposite. I was secretly pleased she postponed. I was so looking forward to this as Gold is my favourite era. I’ve met most of the NPG but not her. Her book gave me new admiration for her. It was well written & respectful.
I live in East Devon & my town was snowed in & all roads were closed as well as no public transport. I contacted her just before she emailed me to ask if I could redeem my ticket in Minneapolis. I won’t have to now. 💜

Of course, it's not funny you can't get a refund for the train tickets, but you should really try to go on April 30th. It's great fun and Mayte is really nice !

I hope you'll somehow manage to go. Fingers crossed.

I purchased her CD when it was released back in the day so I really wanted her to sign that and also the tour programme from the very first Prince concert I went to when I was a kid, which she is in. She’s already signed my copy of her book as I ordered a signed copy when it was released. Argh! I have to make this work....I can’t miss it!
