check your eamils as a message went out about 1:35 EST. No Track Times listed which makes it tough to schedule. Not sure if Day 1 is Track 1 early and 2 later. I would assume but hopefully they will clarify the times.

Track 1 Thursday 11:00am to 4:00pm Friday 5:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday 5:00pm to 10:00pm Sunday 11:00am to 4:00pm
Track 2 Reverse from Track 1
That is the info from their first email. I'm not going to buy until I know for sure though.

Thank U! I just heard that as well. Makes no sense compared (Track 1 Fri & Sat both 5-10 P?) with 2017 schedule. I am awaiting an email from info@paisleypark and will post once I hear.

I just got an email from them and they confirmed those times. I wish there was a Track with all PM times. TRUE BLUE

Yes, it came today around 1:30 EST. I suggest contacting info@paisleypark.com to inquire about your deposit fulfillmnet email notification.
I did hear back from PP and they posted the same track schedule as the one "Motherfunka" provided. They stated along with the schedule as follows:
"they might change just a little bit..but this is the plan ---" Paisley Park Info.

I got my email today and the balance has to be paid by Jan 15. That's all fine and good but I think it's reasonable to know who is going to be the special guests and what is they are going to do for these 3 days. Also, we all know that VIP was a joke last year. It was their first year doing it and they mostly got things ironed out by day 3 but in all honesty, the extra $500 could not be justified. Does anyone know what they are going to do differently this year than last year to make VIP worth the $1000 price tag?? Roping off the front rows and giving us a sit down (vs the same meal buffet) style is not worth the extra $500.

They said they will have "live music", but didn't say who. I'd prefer they show live Prince footage, over any proteges or ex-bands, but I don't think that's going to be happening. TRUE BLUE

I will need confirmation that they will show a lot of exclusive Prince footage before I make the investment.

I got an email from Paisley Park that said, "I'm sorry but we like to announce things as time goes on..as frustrating as it can be, we do hear that people like to keep getting the surprises all along the way. VIP will be the same as last year with some minor changes."
Well, now that they have so promply answered my question of "what am I paying for?", I can't wait to write a check for $1000 so I can keep getting surprises along the way. <insert sarcasm>
Good lawd, who is running the ship at PP? The interest in these annual celebrations is going to wane as time passes. This is a crutial year to really do right by the estate to keep fans coming back. There is no excitement or buzz around this years celebration. Only, "give us your money paid in full by Jan 15, 2018. For what, you ask? After you give us your money we'll decide how we'll spend it and get back to you."
I think the fans will probably have to take matters into their own hands and just start having their own celebrations in key places near where they live. This whole PP-money-for-nothing marketing strategy just seems so mismanaged.

I emailed paisley park and asked about the email I have yet to receive. I was told to check my spam (nothing there). I made a deposit for two people but I may have to cancel and was told no refunds I find it ridiculous. Can someone tell me the coat for the event and if they recall the no refund policy? Thank you

Sorry to hear your troubles, there should be some way to get this ironed out. Try contacting Universal, they're the actual ticket vendors for PP. If you gave a depsoit for 3 people no less and have your confirmation email from your initial depsoit this needs to be straightened out.
VIP was $999, $200 deposit and $799 fulfillment General $500-not sure on deposit breakdown.
Hope that helps

I am hoping for the heavy dose of video footage as well. That was such a tease last year showing about 45-60 mins of a 90 plus min show. Perhaps they can put a nice large live footage screen in the NPG lounge or the merchandise/dining tent. Even if on a loop it would be an added bonus.
I am still down with seeing some old protegees, I know its not like back in the day....but heck neither are we LOL. I enjoyed the Time and the Revolution last year and am hopeful maybe Sheila graces us this year. The original Time with Jerome Benton, Jimmy & Terry & Jesse Johnson (place will go crazy or at least I will LOL). Just for one night guys LEITGO...Madhouse with a nice horn piece and who knows maybe a U Got the Look and Arms of Orion piece with Sheena Easton sauntering in....I know I am getting crazy now...don't put me in the truck lol.
I know the surpise part(s) are in Princely fashion (hell I lived through it since 1978) BUT when he was alive (major sigh) and there was even a chance he would perfom I would take that chance and pay almost anything without promise or ?. Sadly, he's gone and its only fair folks know more up front. My thought is maybe its just a booking confirmation issue and the names will begin to flow more frequently.
Bottom line (no not the club in NY P played back in the day circa: 1980) I am TRULY grateful for the folks at Paisley and the P Family as reagrdless of all of the stuff I may or may not approve of, like or works for little old me they're keepin this alive for us....and quite frankly...I need this as losing P cut a huge hole in my soul and for me this is church even if I am not happy with all of the congregation & choir LOL...I remain thankful for most!

Don't get your hopes up too high. Before last year's Celebration from Dec 16 to Apr 17, they were showing unrleased concert footage on a weekly basis. After Celebration those stopped. I went to the Purple Rain showing in June and asked someone "in the know" about why they had stopped and he gave me that look and said enjoy it while you can. So needless to say, something went down and they no longer do that. Not to say that they can't get some vids for Celebration, but it doesn't look promising. Which is a shame, because Prince had said he wanted live concerts shown in his plans for the museum. TRUE BLUE

I will take this year off and resume when they get lots of exclusive Prince videos.

Has anyone made there choices on which track you will be on? I lost a few numbers of the purple people that I linked up with from last year. Let me know so I can link up with some of you during the celebration!

I have had my fill of the previous configurations of his bands including the NPG and the Revolution. They were fine for some of the tributes, but it has become overkill. Some of his associates like Andy Allo, Judith Hill, Esperanza Spalding and others would be fine to see. But the split should be 70/30 unseen Prince concert footage to associate artist performances. We are there for Prince. [Edited 1/11/18 10:12am]

Thank U..Purplefam99: Much Love to your Positivity!!!
All in all..I am not taking these celebrations for granted. I was at Xenpohobia back in 02 and said to my wife..hey we need to comeback every year for this as it already had a 3 year annual run. Well sadly we never had the opportunity in that type of forum again.
Don't get me started on the rise and fall of the old Controversy and NPG Music Clubs...LOL
I hope the annual Celebrations last for all ya'll and we can all choose which and what April but for me I need to go. P taught me many years ago to set your expectations low when you come to his shows. Begrudginly I listened and WOW...I ended up on satge with him high fiving locking lefthands and all with my wife on stage with us (Musicolgy 7/20/04). So with that pinnacle of a lifetime memory I go. Last year I practiced the same approach at the 2017 Celebration and thanks to one of P's bodyguards who remembered me being at the gate the next day in Paisley via NY (flowers from his staff, purple hat box and all) right afer P passed...put me on stage with Morris and the Time.
Hold onto your souls all...we gotta long way to go..(Hopefully)

Well said! "We are there for Prince"... I am sure the Celebration Organizers are keeping and eye out on this forum one would think. Maybe we will get an org note to come out and assist in producing and directing this event for the FAMS! LOL...well at least I can dream....in the Dream Factory that is.
