They said they would raise it and get the sign changed but I suspect this will not happen

Aha - that explains the confusion

This thread is about the exhibition at the O2 in London, England - not Paisley!

I would imagine Paisley has one of the "proper" copies but it looks like the O2 exhibition has a cheap Korean copy, which is being "passed off" as one of the original ones at the exhibition

The book appears to acknowledge that it is a cheap copy but still claims he played it a lot

I got some cheap day return first class train tickets from Manchester to London end of December in the Virgin Trains sale, so planning to visit the exhibition late morning (train gets in at 10:15), so was planning to book the exhibition for 11:30, going straight there from Euston, TFL travel site says its 26 minutes away by Tube from Euston, is this realistic? also, if your late arriving, do you still get allowed in? just concerned incase train is delayed etc, but want to go straight to the exhibiton, then go to the west end until my return train in the evning.

Also, is the VIP tour worth £60 over the £25 GA ticket? it's my 1 chance to do the tour so was planning to do VIP, but the reviews for VIP don't state much more that's worth it? am I best saving the £35 for the shop? are they still giving away the Steve Parke book as part of VIP pack? that's £15 anyways and I was planning to get it, just wondering what people who have been to the exhibition think?

I was an hour early and they let me in. All staff were incredibly polite and helpful.

All in all i enjoyed the exhibition a lot. Some nice stuff to see...

The critics are right though, some mistakes and all seems a bit rushed.

if you can afford it its well worth doing both GA and VIP i loved every minute of my time down london on my birthday its one i'll never forget thanks to my mom and dad and neices it was a proper prince related weekend

My friends said take a VIP ticket and is really worth the extra money...

You get to see more rooms, can take pictures there and get a free copy of steven parkes new book...

Mate give yourself about 45 minutes to get from Euston to North Greenwich

Will do, gonna give abit of time spare after arriving as Virgin Trains have announced strike action between Xmas & New Year (no wonder tickets were so cheap!!!!), so holding off buying O2 ticket until strike days all confirmed.

Is the 90 minute guided tour with VIP through the whole exhibition, or just the VIP area?

I just can't believe for a moment that going to this relatively small exhibition (it's not like the Bowie V&A one) can compare in any way to visiting Prince's purpose-built place of work, play and residence.
