Three DJs and a live band are celebrating with you hand-picked pearls from the huge dance, funk and groove work of the "Purple Yoda" from Minneapolis, who died far too early in 2016: Prince!
Purple music from over four decades - from the disco sound of the 70s to the classic Minneapolis-Sound of the 80s over rock of the 90s up to the modern club sounds of the last years. 6 hours "Dance, Music, Sex, Romance"! We present hit singles, livetakes, rarities, and tracks from artists who have influenced or influenced Prince himself.
All this takes place in the spectacular setting of the Lutherkirche in Cologne's Südstadt. The tribute band The Purple Dawn, DJ Steven Bascom and not least the legendary DJs Rupen & Akarmo provide stylistic changes and surprises on the dancefloor.
