Paisley Park tickets Unexpectedly Cancelled!

As it is our 25th wedding anniversary this year my husband was good enough to suggest we use some of our savings to go on a once in a lifetime time trip from the UK to Minneapolis to celebrate - turn our silver wedding anniversary into a Purple wedding anniversary - as he knows how much this would mean to me.

So back on 11th May we booked tickets for Paisley Park for After Dark for 2nd Sept and VIP for 3rd Sept. We then booked flights, two hotels (3 nights Minneapolis, 2 nights Chanhassen) and car hire. I was really excited as have followed Prince since the eighties and always wanted to visit PP.

Today with no warning, no apology and no explanation we received an email to say our Paisley Park tickets for 2nd September have been cancelled!

I am absolutely gutted and shocked that they can do this to a customer who has bought tickets in good faith and arranged an international trip to visit.

Has this happened to anyone else and any suggestions as to what I can do about it?

It looks like they are having an event Aug 31 to Sep 3. Battle of the Bands. See their Facebook post from today.

I have just seen that on Facebook. It would have been nice to have been told why my tickets were cancelled with a suggestion and link to beeok for the Musicology event. I just got an email which literally said your tickets have been cancelled.

Can't find where to buy the new tickets and have not been able to find out whether the VIP bruch tickets we booked for the 3rd will now be cancelled.

Have tweeted, sent Facebook messgae and emailed at 7am UK time this morning but no response.

Poor customer relations on the part of Paisley Park.

To buy tickets, just go to their website and click on "Buy Tickets" and on the calendar, choose one of those dates.
