Few issues at Paisley Park museum

The city is also encouraging Paisley Park to put a landscaping plan together for the site, Aanenson said.

Aren't the grounds already lanscaped and rather beautifully too?

The grounds are nicely landscaped, but always conducive to a lot of foot traffic. Wide and more generously laid out sidewalks and pathways for a public place like this. If the egg is used for retail, there have to be more footwalk areas to that as well, and create a natural flow for people to leave one area, and go to another to keep from having a human traffic jam. Parking is eventually going to be an issue as well. Landscaping is more than just fresh cut grass and some flowers, for a situation like this.

It's nice to hear the transition is relatively smooth because nothing is going to be perfect from the get-go. People thought it opening so soon was a rush to get money. But the court ordered that the estate monetizes itself. I'm sure that includes releasing music, opening PP as a museum, creating retail merchandise, etc. History has certainly taught those in control something since Graceland was created, and subsequent estates approached unreleased music, and physical assets differently than years before. By 2016, it's practically down to a quasi-science. Plus, Prince had years of little emails and notes about what he wanted things to be like. The blueprint was there, in effect. I'm glad it's gaining momentum.

I had a friend visit about a month ago, went on two tours (one regular and one VIP), plus went to every damn place in MPLS area he found remotely associated with Prince, and raved about all of it. PS While there is no drinking inside Paisley Park, that didn't stop him and his husband from having some red wine in the car between the tour and a movie night at the Park. Gotta take the edge off somehow. haha

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

The reviews for Paisley Park on TripAdvisor are overwhelmingly positive biggrin

It would be great for the egg to finally be used for something, anything!!
