Deposit for PP "Celebration 2018" already on?

I just received email from PP regarding putting down a $100 deposit for Celebration 2018 tickets already.

They posted that deposits will be accepted for a limited time June 1-June 14 and only available for 2017 attendees.

No VIP or General tracks listed, only Track 1 or Track 2. I am sure they will spring that one on us at a later date.

How many of you, 2017 Celebrants will partake in next year's event?

Oh yes, they are adding a $30 facility fee to the $100 deposit too.....

Need me some fuzzy love....and yes, I wear clear heels

I can't imagine them declining people who didn't go to this year's Celebration. Sounds to me as if they're giving "first dibs" on those people (which most concerts and events do anyway).

Think of it as a pre-sale before the public sale.

I'll be going next year too. I bought GA tickets this year and that was what my email was for to buy for next year. I'm assuming people who bought VIP will get the VIP presale email.

I won't be missing this next year (won't be overseas, therefore will absolutely be at PP!). But, do think it's strange that GA can only go as GA and VIP as VIP (unless I'm reading that wrong) - should give them option to do either/or if they want to experience VIP this time.

Just out of curiosity, are people only able to buy one deposit ? ...you knwo, just curious razz biggrin love2

I think you are right about the GA doing GA and VIP doing VIP, but for this presale only. We could wait until all tickets are released and then just buy VIP.

It does allow me to buy multiple deposits. Up to 50.

I think it would be a good idea to give 2017 VIPs first dibs but allow all GA tix to be bought otherwise.
This way the many associates and friends can surely have access.

I can also see how they would want 2017 GA loyals to return, esp if they made friends this past Celebration etc. or if PP wanted to increase their experience with knots ironed out next year.

If all went smoothly in 2017 and all behaved, that could be even more incentive for PP to do it this way.

But there is of course the issue of those who couldn't attend this year wanting a ticket.

I think there will be enough Tix of both types to go around though, for those who really want them, and don't wait.

Mine too. I wanted to do VIP tickets this time. I emailed them and they told me I would have to wait until the VIP tickets are for sale, so I can't put down the deposit. I ended up putting down a deposit for GA. Do you guys think I should stick with the GA or VIP?

Yes -- I had a VIP pass for Celebration 2017, and I received an email inviting me to pay a $200 deposit for VIP next year. (Actually, if you click the link to pay, there's a $30 "facility fee" added on, making it $230 total.) No option to chose GA instead.

Is the deposit refundable?

Anyway, I did VIP last year and didn't regret paying the extra $500.

Right. My cost was $130 for GA. I see they have changed the crazy schedule times a little bit, but still not what I would want.

My guess is take up is low. Without details of content, people don't want to commit, particularly those coming from overseas, which was the majority this year.

Did everyone who when this year get the further email saying they were looking to improving things? Makes me think take up on the pre sale deposit was very low. Not surprised. No confirmation of cost, content or track options (which means those traveling far can't plan).

Yes, I got that email too. They did list track times though. You didn't get the option to pick which one yet with preorder though. I definitely want Track 1. Also looking forward to the concert series they were talking about for this fall. Hopefully it's not just local bands, since they said it was going to be geared more towards locals. They tried that once before and it didn't turn out too well.
