Paisley Park?--how has it changed since he died? I was just reading another article about Paisley Park that described it as a personal homage to himself and his soul residence. From what I can gather, Prince lived upstairs in Paisley and that is off limits. And he also lived in Turks N Caicos and other homes over the years (near Paisley and in Canada).
My question to those who have been to Paisley in the early days, prior to Prince's death and after Prince's death...Was Paisley always so much like a museum? Were there always enormous pictures of Prince all over the walls? Or has that intensified since his death or even since he decided to start making Paisley into a museum?
Can someone give me an idea of the trajectory of this place? Because it seems to me like I have read somewhere that Paisley was bit more subtle in the past? (a bit, it was probably always OTT)..and that people are kind of leaping to conclusions about the extent in which Prince wallowed in homage to himself.

I'm not sure how much it's changed but he's always had huge pictures of himself up at Paisley- hell, he wore pictures of himself on his clothing and his screensaver on his computer was a pic of himself. He had a great self esteem. I think that was a good thing.

Yes! I wish I could post pictures - there were a few that he wore with his face- I love that he did that- nothing wrong with having a good self esteem... people should not feel bad for championing themselve on!
