Last year on April 21st, time stopped when I heard the news that we had lost (in my opinion) the greatest musician, songwriter and live performer of all time. As my phone exploded with calls and texts from friends, family, and the press I remember thinking that all I wanted to do was play music. After making a few calls to contacts, the only place to offer up their space with no questions asked were the good people (you know who you are) at Dodge City.

I grieved along with several hundred people at Dodge City while playing a four hour set of music written, performed and produced by Prince. I'm returning to Dodge City again this year to pay tribute to my hero.
