Hello, Who is on the org and going to Celebration Track 2? Looking to meet up. After reading all the stuff the Track 1 people are doing, I am thinking of switching my hotel to a downtown hotel as it seems like everything at PP is over by 10pm. Is this what you are hearing as well?

Hey! I have Track 2 tickets as well. I also have front row dinner seat tickets to see Eric Leeds at the Dakota Jazz Club on the 19th. I bought an extra seat just incase I happened to find someone from the Celebration to go with me. I have my hotel room downtown so I can check out the dining places and First Ave.

I know I'll be going to the Dance On 'Til Dawn party on the 22nd, but haven't heard of any other meetups.

I am hoping the Celebration folks come out with some sort of schedule of events so I can see what we are working with.

I am staying at a Celebration hotel in Bloomington and renting a car to get around. The hotel is one that has a shuttle to the Celebration but I plan to see more of the region.

By the way, did everyone get an email Saturday from Paisley Park asking for a photo, what hotel you are staying at, etc, so they can create a special credential for you and leave you a welcome packet?

I would be interested in taking part in some group events!

I don't have ticket for the celebration, but things generally wrap up early at PP. Lots of stuff going on downtown after. I live about a half hour from PP and if I can help anyone out with rides or whatever it doesn't hurt to ask me [Edited 3/13/17 17:38pm]

Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom, Golden Valley, 10:30pm to 4:00am, April 22nd. Tickets have not went on sale yet, but check @prnfamily twitter for updates.

Thank U Motherfunka! Got them last night. Went VIP, it was worth it at the October Tribute Celebration Dance until Dawn at the Muse . Nice to say hello to Omar, his lovely wife, Bobby Z, Andre....saw Mayte but...well I saw her..have my own issues from 15 yrs ago there a bit but all good lol. Plus 2 free drinks is a bonus as they're not cheap and don't wanna freeze waiting in-line if its cold. Sometimes it...well U no the rest.

G-Sharp, is amazing...they do a cover of "Condition of the Heart" real flute and all that I still cannot get out of my head 6 month later. I would fly back just to see them...no kidding.

Can't wait to get on Track.....2 with U all!!!

Great. Its one of those once in a while opps and worth the few extra $$$. To me Prince was always a VIP wherever he went and by far I am no comparison to him (especially in the $$ dept. LOL) BUT I always like to represent in the same fashion as a fan whenever it came or comes to him.

Prince Fam!!!! Hoping Omar is there, he really seems to genuiniely feel and care for the fans who attend. I felt a sincere admiration in what he told me he thought of me when we embraced back at Dance Until Dawn 10/16. I have a T-shirt Omar's wife gave me that I won't even where LOL.

Just saw Shelby with Liv and Jill at BB King's back in early Janauary (amazing show), plus I took the same PP Tour with her back in October. Whatched the same screen next to her that replays the 2007 SB performance. That was very emotional & surreal as it was both of our first times seeing that exhibit in Paisley.

If it wasn't for this tread I might have missed this. Wanted to visit the Dakota given from what I recall was the last nightclub dance/jazz place he visited before he passed. I believe he had a light dinner there inat his "favorite table" either Mon or Tues 4/19 or 4/18/16. Plus I never made those legendary Dakota P shows a few years back.

I have track 2, bought tickets for Shelby for 19th and will get for Dance Until Dawn...and you make my mind change to a VIP ticket now!

So far I dont have hotel and am looking for one in Blommington. Any suggestions?

Disregard my post lol I didn't see the Blommington part... When I came to PP last year I stayed at The Normandy & it was nice. https://www.bestwestern.c...:gmb:24091 . Its Downtown & around lots of restaurants. I'm in a different hotel this time, only because its a suite.

RE Shelby-yeah, we are going to leave PP right at 10. Thinking we'll get there around 10:45-11. Contacted Dakota and they said she was going to play all night. I don't think they close until 2 so we should catch most of the show. FYI...if you are thinking about this, you may want to secure tickets. They were going fast.
