On the first anniversary of Prince's untimely death, this all-out DJ Dance Party will celebrate the revolutionary life and music of Prince Rogers Nelson. It will be hosted by Purple Raign, a rapidly growing Prince family based in the Metropolitan DC, MD and VA area, and with members connecting via Facebook. Our aim is to make this the best Prince celebration outside of Chanhassen. To throw this party, Purple Raign is pleased to have the support of other local Prince families, such as LoveSexyDC.

Music provided by DJ DR Rock, who'll be spinning Prince in all of his incarnations. From "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad" to "Kiss" to "FunknRoll!" Rock your most majestic purple and "Get Delirious" to the music of Prince, The Time, Sheila E, Vanity 6, Jesse Johnson and more!

Prizes awarded to the best look-alikes of Prince or of any protégé along his journey, and include tickets to see the Revolution perform at the Fillmore Silver Spring on April 27. So if you think you look like His Royal Badness himself, Morris Day, Jerome, Apollonia, or Dr. Fink, bring it!
