I'm hoping that some other venues will be doing things to.

This may well be my final trip (in a way it could be the great send off) so I'm hoping to take in more of the City and surrounding area that on previous 'in and out' visits.

I'm also be interested in help from any locals, whether they are going or not, to get tips on getting around and places of interest.

We should try and firm this idea up. This is my first time to PP and Minneapolis. Probably the easiest arrangement is to meet at the entrance to PP, inside the fence, around 15 minutes before each session starts. I am on Track 2 GA, which begins Thursday, 5pm. Maybe we all make our own prince.org sign or badge or something? I could be completely wrong here about where to meet and then there's the weather to contend with. But once we've met the first time we then pick and choose what to do next and who with for the next 3 days. So we just need a simple plan for the first meet-up.

Chanhassen is @ 30 min drive from downtown and 20 min from airport. Public transport may be tricky to get from downtown to PP. If you want convenience and more budget-friendly for the hotels, I would recommend staying in Chanhassen since you will need to be there everyday anyways. I hear Edina is convenient to both downtown and PP plus they offer a shuttle directly to PP according to the PP website. They had Chanhassen Inn and Country Inns (Chanhassen) listed earlier this month with promo codes but now it's taken down. Rooms may be sold out there. https://officialpaisleypa...ration2017

Maybe split your time and stay in the city on some days?

I just purchased my GA ticket for track 2 and my hotel is booked. Now just have to get my airline booked. I too am traveling alone but plan to meet up with friends. Would love to meet some of the org!

Just decided to buy a GA Track 2 ticket. I think i'm traveling alone also. Send me an orgnote you guys so we can stay in touch. Unfortunately, I don't have any friends to meet up with yet.

I too was wondering if First Avenue would have anything Prince-related the night of 4/21, or adjacent dates. Looks like they are fairly well booked, other than the 21st as you noted. BTW, if they get around to scheduling tours during the day, I'd highly recommend doing one; I really enjoyed the one I took while there in October.
