Paisley Park I have been keeping an eye on the PP web site to see if there are going to be any dates for April apart from the 20th. I am coming from England to the US for a wedding which is sadley on the 21st of April. We are coming to Minneapolis a few days before on the 15th. Do any of you know if PP will be open the weekend. If not are there any other Prince tours that anyone has done and were good. Also is there anyone from Minneapolis that could tell me how easy it would be to get a cab to and from PP. Thanks guys.

I just received an email from PP informing me that tickets for April will not become available until sometime in February.

I've also been a little uneasy about it, because I booked flights and hotels for this months ago when PP initially advertised that it would operate 7 days a week. So I too have really been hanging out to secure tickets for the weekend of April 8 and 9. And like you, I'm coming a long way for this (Australia). I would also appreciate some information on the taxi situation from Minny to Chanhassen because at this stage it looks like the only way for me to get out to PP. Pity our dates don't coincide....we could have cab shared. Best of luck with your plans. I hope all goes well.

I've stayed in the Chanhassen area and used LYFT to get around. I overall had a pleasant experience, even some of the drivers shared a Prince-related story. From MPLS to Chanhassen ( & vice versa) I would estimate one-way fare to be less than $33. I would recommend either using LYFT or Uber.
Not sure if it's still operating but there is a Prince bus tour that starts in MPLS and supposedly goes on for 3-4hours. Morning tours i think are $99 and afternoon tours are $59
