Hotel stay in Minneapolis or Chanhassen? Celebration advice. Hi all. I'm seeking advice from Orgers who have travelled from a distance to Paisley Park before and stayed for events there.
I am Oxford in England and am fortunate enough to be able to spend the money to attend the Celebration. It is expensive but it is a one off and i'll never attend again.
I cannot decide wether to book a hotel with my wife in Chanhassen? Or to sat more central in the city of Minneapolis to be near night life and any places of interest.
Paisley Park will hopefully have events on most nights but i would like to explore the city. Visit First Avenue etc.
Any advice from past Celebration goers or people who know the area would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites. Nice place and less than 10 minutes from PP. | |

Hi Everybody,
Last week I bought a VIP ticket to Track 2 at the Celebration in April. My Prince friends in Denmark did not want to come or did not have time/money, so I'm going by myself.
I was just wondering where people are staying for the event? I tried the first three hotels that was on last week but did not succeed so I've pre-booked the Oak Ridge Hotel very close to Paisley Park. However now I see that Hilton in MPLS in on the site.
So was just wondering if everybody is staying at the advised hotels? I've never been to MPLS before and want to see some of the places (got a long list). Are there any doing the same?
Cheers
