There has been a minor change of plans, we had to switch charities. All Attendees that have purchased through Eventbite should have received an update/clarification. For those still planning to snag tickets, the organization is now Little Kids Rock due to an issue with the Estate

I saw UTCM at the Uptown Theater back in July. So much fun! Really looking forward to SOTT.

I'm going to keep a lookout for tickets just for Graffiti Bridge. I love me some Purple Rain, I've just seen it so much, and GB will be the only Prince film I haven't seen in theaters at that point. I might just be pushed to go see PR since it'll be in Minneapolis and it'd seem sacrilege not to.

Ticket ordered...check! Donation made...check! I can bring a raffle prize, too. I work for a craft distillery in Ohio and would be happy to make up a little gift basket (sans the alcohol). Maybe, if enough people are willing, we could have a silent auction with each auction item being representative of where the donor is from. I'd love it if we would raise a ton of money and completely surprise the benefactors.

I just bought my ticket. So excited as I have never seen SOTT and will be first time for Cherry Moon on the big screen. Thank you so much for organizing this! I was just in MPLS and there were no Prince films on anywhere, so Im particuarly grateful you are making this happen as seems so important while we are there. Thanks!

Would only depend on how much wait list requests I get. If enough to fill another theatre rental, definite possibility

Only thing is I *personally* may not be able to 'host' it. No problem booking etc if enough people are interested, let's cross that bridge if the numbers suggest we do

Ok I think I might be bad and play hookie from work and fly in the day before. i am trying to justify this as "well I can't be exausted from working the night before the concert can I?? I completely know where you are coming from on the exciting/waterworks conundrum. Seconds after the excitement of buying a PP VIP ticket for Oct 12 at 1, I immediately was struck with a wall of sadness...haven't been able to shake it since. It's going to be an extremely emotional week. And I worry also about the too soon aspect, but I know financially I can't swing two separate trips to MPLS (at least not in the forseeable future) and would feel really weird going to MPLS for the Oct 13th event...and not going, ya know? but definitely would be nice with the collective support and energies from the Purple Fam

I also need to figure out the purple rain house/lake minnetonka into the mix somehow SO MANY FACTORS & Things to do...such little time to do them in!

O.K. I might be stupid... but where's the "Eventbright" Page" so that I can secure two ticktets? There is an Events tab on the top of the screen and it only takes me to a blank calendar. Please advise! Thanks!

Is it weird that I'm considering going to PP a second time before I leave MPLS that week? I've got my VIP tour booked for 10/12 but I'm seriously thinking of going back for the general admission tour on the 14th. That's my birthday and I feel like the self-guided tour might give me a moment to really contemplate the impact he and his music had on my life. I'm also thinkng the VIP experience is great but maybe won't give me the quiet time I probably need to say thank you and good-bye. Awww Lawd...and here I go crying again. Just wanted to get some thoughts.

Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy when it comes to this whole situation. I never knew him personally but feel like I lost a part of my sould when he died. I can't tell you how happy I am to be around others who understand. I'm more excited about this double feature than the tribute concert. It can't get here soon enough.

I actually moved my PP Tour to the 13th at 11:20. I was starting to panic that I would miss my tour on the 12th if my flight got delayed.

So....I just bought 2 tickets to this.

Thank you for the thank you I think if it's a success it will be super rewarding in its own - personally because it will be my biggest fundraiser event/activity to date, it's a fun challenge and two, to be able to coordinate the fam together in a special night like this...it really is going to be great surrounded by people who love Prince as much as I do while supporting a cause dear to his heart

SOTT is the only one I haven't seen on the big screen And UTCM is MEANT for the big screen - wow...love it even more than I did before getting to see it in theatres this year!

I will be starting work on the GB/PR event tomorrow evening and that should be up and running in the next few days. Stay tuned

Good question, not sure. Just saw that they had a 38.50 price and a VIP.

I wholeheartedly agree and love this entire idea! I am not sure how many people will be willing but I will update my event page and add it to the 2nd event too so they know about the option. Even if not exactly a silent option, more prizes mean more ticket sales = more funds raised!

It's official! The Purple Rain & Graffiti Bridge event information has been posted in fan gatherings to give the Fam first dibs of tickets (with any luck we will sell out with Orgers and not need to selectively promote elsewhere, but will monitor sales and go from there).
