The Fams have not yet had a chance 2 gather and pay respect 2 Prince since his untimely passing in April. So, we have put a Memorial 2gether 2 make it happen.

Please join us in Minneapolis, MN on October 14 @ 7:00pm. The flyer attached has all the info, please feel free 2 repost it & pass it around online. If U plan 2 attend, please click on "Events" on the left side of this page and go RSVP.

We are also having a fundraiser that will go through the night of the 14th. Please go 2 www.paypal.me/purplestyle7 2 donate any amount U chose. That will go directly 2 Dorothy so she can have immediate access 2 funds while she is in MN. The money will go to a chosen charity/charities in Minneapolis that Prince supported.

I have been dragging my feet on coming to Minneapolis, and last week with the hurricane, it looked like a no-go. But I'm am seeing if it's still feasible. If I decide to come up, I will be there for sure. If not I hope you tape it so the rest of us can participate. I hope it goes well

Sounds perfect. We need a true memorial for him. I think thats the one thing that has been missing during all this revelry. All the dance parties, concerts and movies are wonderful. I hope they do tape it; however, I am not able to be in MLPS this week. Moreover, I am in no way involved with the planning of this event. Nor do I know the sponsors. I just happened to see the flyer and I thought it should be posted here. I hope they have a good turnout. Prince deserves a large-scale, public memorial. I still can't believe that his family did not do that in his memory. But that's water under the bridge now...
