Be part of the energy and excitement on Friday, Aug. 26, at the Minnesota State Fair as we bring the community together to celebrate the life of a legend – Minnesota’s own Prince. From 5 p.m. to close, we’ll honor Prince with music tributes at stages throughout the grounds; a Prince Party in the Park with music and dancing led by GenerationNOW's DJ Dudley D, Prince's personal DJ, at Carousel Park; tribute fireworks sponsored by Mazda; Prince-inspired vendor goods and giveaways; plus more surprises and special fun for all! THERE WAS SO MUCH LOVE THERE 8/26/16
Carousal Park was crowded as DJ Dudley spinned. Everyone wearing their purple. It was a nice touch for the Fair to hand out "Unit in Purple" buttons, and hand out purple braclets. So happy to see the love of so many fans in Minnesota. Minnesota misses you Prince, and the rest of the world. Wish you were still here on earth.
