Just an update: Monitoring the ticket sales, it's been 4 days without a sale for this event. I have removed the password, and have posted it on one or two pages to get those tickets selling again. I have a select number of seats/tickets to release once tickets to the tribute event are being sold. It will still be first come-first serve, and I will temporarily put the password back on at that time, to give Org fams first dibs again. If you haven't snagged your ticket by then, check back for an update when the tribute sales are announced/selling.

You are talking about the matinee for the 15th right? I bought a ticket on 9/2 and got a confirmation. You don't see that?

You bought tickets to Under the Cherry Moon/Sign of the times on Sept 2nd? I'll check but I'm sure the last purchase I have for this is Sept 1st. Even still, definitely slow-down with regards to purchases; need the tickets to be moving as the second installment to pay the theatre is coming up.

Oh I just checked, last ticket for UTCM/SOTT was on Thursday. PR/GB was yesterday, but they are not going as fast so hope to start filling the seats with Prince fans/purple army

Definitely a lot more traffic on the site and ticket sales are coming in again! Was feeling a bit worried with the 4-day drought. I know that meant it's time to get the word out

I completely agree! Definitely want to sell out these seats to maximize the fundsraised for #YesWeCode - and because it will really amp up the energy and purple love in that theatre

THIS JUST IN: Slight kink in the plan with regards to #YesWeCode, but in a nut shell, we cannot raise funds for them at this time (as bizarre as that sounds?! ).

Only 25% of you have donated TO the cause so far. I am hoping those of you are okay with the applying the funds donated to another equally near and dear to Prince's heart: Little Kids Rock - Transforming the lives of Children through music. An email has been sent to all ticket purchasers advising them of this, and to explain the options. If you are NOT okay with this, please let me know and I can look into options to reverse the donation part of your purchase...if not through eventbrite than simply through Paypal.

***SO if you are wondering why all of a sudden the listings all sound a bit vague charity-wise, this is why - was specifically asked to remove all names from the event - I just don't want anyone to wonder what is going on, so trying to be as upfront as possible. Again, any questions, please ask!

How do i purchase tickets? I've signed up with www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ I've searched searched everywhere and i don't see this event. Please send me the info before the tickets sale out. I would like 2 attend as many Prince events as i can while I'm in Minn.

Hi Tish! I think you may have to sign up, kind of like Paypal, but it should be free to sign up. Try going to one of the event pages, and click as to buy a ticket, I think it will either give you a sign in or register option.

Is that opportunity limited to cash only, or can I use a cc or paypal for donations at the events. And for the record... I've seen all of these on the big screen and many small screen MANY times. I purchased the tix becuase I support #Yeswecode and want to support the members of this community that were thoughtful enough to put all of this together. I'm not even sure if I will attend one or both, depends on how the trip is going.

I strongly encourage other orgers to consider buying tix whether or not you plan to be in MPLS or whether or not you plan to actually attend the screenings. C'mon guys, its $10 we're talking about here. The movies are good, the cause is great. #WWPD (What would Prince do?)

And yes, I see my little "donational" typo above. Sigh. Fingers moving too fast. This is what happens when you don't preview before posting.

If someone buys a ticket to either of these and then can't attend, can they just print the ticket and give it to someone else to use? I see on my UTCM/SOTT ticket it has my name, but it just says "ordered by..." I guess they won't be demanding ID with the ticket at the door?

Do you think this will be done around the time GA folks get into the Muse event? I'm on the fence about Muse, not sure I want to spend the money.
