Chase & Ovation are doing a tribute on Saturday August 6. I thought I read somewhere that Prince saw him once and gave his blessing to this tribute? Anyone seen them? Wondering if I should check it out...

I just saw these guys on Saturday at Bunkers - AMAZING show. And yes, P did give them his blessing, way back. Chase actually played a set AT FIRST AVE - IN FRONT OF P! and got the thumbs up for the show. If you're anywhere near the area, you should go. Seriously. I think the cover at Bunkers was $10 - dirt cheap for this caliber of musicianship. They are a great group and not only pay reverence to the music, but also P's message. Go - just go.
