Visiting Minneapolis I wasn't sure where to post this so I figure it won't do any harm in here
I will be visiting Minneapolis in June from the 22nd until the 30th.I had been contemplating the trip in March but then with the sad passing of Prince in April it made me more determined.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a Princely itinerary OH! I'm also hearing conflicting reports about which Ju(i)cy Lucy is the best
any help would be greatly appreciated Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Sorry, I haven't been looking at any forums besides "Prince: Music and More" since Apr 27th. But the link above has some good suggestions. I would recommend: First Av, Bunkers, The Dakota Jazz Club for live music (in that order); The Electric Fetus, Calhoun Square (Uptown neighborhood) and Nicollet Mall for shopping and strolling; Paisley Park for obvious reasons. Matt's Bar gets my vote for Jucy Lucy's as long as you don't mind a casual atmosphere. No frills but the burgers are great and the price is right. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN | |
