I'm in the middle of getting my finances in order.

As soon as I've paid my debts, I'll start saving for the Seattle trip. Maybe I'll make it a West coast trip and travel the US for a couple of weeks.

woot! x2

I heard from someone's mum that airfares are good to be got approx 4 months before flight date. So although I have all my plans laid out in my head already, nothing will be confirmed from my end until end April-ish.

I will probably look for accomm earlier and possibly reserve something if there's no cancellation fee.

I HAVE however bought a new suitcase - an Aldi Samsonite knock-off for $80 woot!
It's sooooo light! eyepop

Good to know.

I'll be using my tax refund money in February to pay for it, so that works out.

I'm looking at tickets Amsterdam - Seattle and cheapest ones are 1200 euros. eek

If I would be able to afford it, I would go for 2-4 weeks.

And would love to do go out hiking in the woods. Pretending to be a nature person.

And I would love to go on boat trips, sightseeing by water.

And if there's any art or museum; yes, I like that.

In between, I just want to stroll around, hang out and taste the atmosphere.

So, that would cost me around 750,- $ on trips, right? Or is that a low estimate?

Food, beverages, etc. probably 75,- $ a day? So, lets's assuem I'd stay 22 days, that totals

1650,- $

And then I would have to look for an appartment to stay. Probably the cheapest way is to do a house swap.

So, does anybody knows somebody from Seattle who would like to stay in Amsterdam for a couple of weeks in the summer?

If I could swap houses, I would have to save around 3500 euros. Beginning with the 1200 so I can get the cheap tickets, before they sell out.

I still have to pay my brother a lumpsum of money (say 4 times this holiday), because he paid my divorce laywer and sustained me for while.

It feels wrong to go out and have fun in Seattle, if I still need to pay off my brother.

So, if anybody can sell my art for me, then I could see a change to join you guys. But otherwise, I really don't know how to get that kind of money. Especially because I still need to do so much in my new house and also would like to get my drivers lisence.

So, spread the word:

I'm selling Flore Zoe early work, she currently exhibits in the Opera Gallery Paris/Singapore/Hong Kong:

Mind you, these pictures have copyright restrictions!

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.
