Hey everyone, "Seed: Eco Lounge" in Savannah, Ga is letting me have random monday nights (for now) for throwing Prince parties. It's a funky classy lounge on Broughton and Mountgomery. The first one will be this coming September 17th. Doors will open at 9 pm and go till 3 am.

This is not a greatest hits affair. If they don't like it I will go back to playing in my living room. I plan on playing only jazz for the first hour or so. I believe in the this man's entire body of work.

I have set up a "page" for it on facebook. You can look it up under "25 Shades of Purple." I'm also tweeting under the name 25Shadesofpurpl.

The lights will go purple, there will be symbol themed candles, and drinks named after songs. A picture of the "chocolate box" is on the facebook page.

It would be nice to get some true heads at these.

Awesome! I'm always envious of how other states have Prince parties and theme nights but never GEORGIA Ugh! I would LOVE to attend this....and I just might ^_^

i'm intrigued if my car was up to it i'd be there! i'm open to carpooling from atlopolis....

Just wondering how this went? I think it's a great idea!

It went really well. I tripled the club's sales and the bartender thinks we did more business than anywhere else in the city. Everyone had a great time. The club owner is definitely excited to have me do it again. He said he wants to help out with the decorations next time : ) I'm planning the next one for around mid march.
