Saturday before Easter Sunday; is that a good New England meet up time?

I have been too busy fighting with SCNDLS on another forum and have not put enough energy into this meet up thing. ( I kinda feel a bit cool now 'cause it is sort of a right of passage to be bitched out by SCDLS)

Anyway I was looking at my calendar and noted that Easter is at the end of the month and maybe P& J (punkmistress and jerseykrs) might come up to visit her family for the holiday and also visit with the New England crowd.

Also the weather should be nice enought to get people from surounding areas like New York, New Jersey and maybe even Toronto and D.C.. FauxReal said that he'd be there. Anyway let's keep it rolling!

This past winter was so dreadful that I can not imagine anyone traveling for very long to get here. Boston had to have been a nightmare to get around in. What do people even do at these things. I know johnart drinks a lot of martini's; what about everyone else???

I dunno...this will be my first. well...I met up with some nice folx in NYC prior to the 2/7 show and we just hung out and chatted but....in my last thread about this I check out some pretty cool bowling alley's in boston. I know..that doesn't sound very fun but it looked like a cool place to hang out...order food and drinks, play pool or bowl. Since it's not going to be at someones house I figured we might want a place we can sit and stay awhile...or I suppose we could roam a bit...

I suck at bowling so I will make everyone feel better about themselves. Bowling alleys have plenty of space, parking etc. Now we just get to get other people on board. smile

Who would make the better martini's; a pool hall or a bowling alley? If we want to play to the majority we need to think of those things hahahaha!

I'm gonna try. Let me check my calendar. I have a college course every other Saturday morning. I've missed two and risk failing. Failing would cost me $1500.

Barring that, I'm game.

It is far from set in stone! We could move it back or forth a week. I just hope that it actually happens wink. Unfortunately I have never been one to be the planner and I neither have a car on the road nor do I live in Boston so I am not the best planner at all. I want to get out and laugh soon though!

I have a very sick relative, nearly died, so I have lost touch with the org. I honestly don't think I can do it this month since the person is in ICU still. I feel bad because I am the one who keeps pushing for this get together! So sorry!

I move to Minneapolis and there's been no initiative here .

I'm coming home to Boston for Easter w/e. Lot's of family catch up with

which means I'll need a break.

I'd say definately bring some Prince music and videos along for entertainment.

oh so sorry to hear this sad and don't be sorry...we can't help what happens in our lives sometimes.

I so want you to be there so...we should push it back. I know Punk and Jers will be on a cruise and not up here anyway. should we shoot for may? weather will be nicer. Nothing like spring time in beantown.

Shorty I've been to Kings and it's a lot of fun there. I think they have a parking garage too. You have to be careful with Jillians...it's right next to Fenway and if there's a game you're screwed for parking. It'll cost you 50 bucks!
