Hey fellow orgers Theres a few of us Scottish fans in talks about organising a Prince night in Glasgow between April/May this year.

We're hoping to attract a lot of attention as its been quite some time since one has been held North of the border. We've seen the Success of the ones organised in Manchester and London and so we hope we can have your support and get as many people intersted so we can at least try and organise something worthwhile and super Funky

The event we hope will be held in a relatively spacious club ( Close to train stations and accomodation ) We're looking for somewhere with a modern sound system and great lighting and has a late license. We were thinking of maybe having a light show and UV body/facepaint ( temporary prince tattoos/ prince related/ prince memorabilia stall, but these are just ideas for now.

Like I say, we really need to get a lot of interest first before we continue.

We hope we can have your support by showing interest and 'Get yo asses up here to Scotland!' To ensure we all have a fantastic night.

I would definitely be up for this, it's been sooooooo long since I've been to anything Prince related!!!

Don't know many venues in Glasgow (from Aberdeen) so can't help out much there, but if something gets organised I'd be there.

i am up for it and will give you any help you need...woundnt it be great if we could get one of the prince tribute acts to do a short gig then dance into the wee hours with a dj......i know that would probably cost too much but it would be great to have something like that up here...

We will do, things are a bit slow on here these days as in getting numbers, but as soo as we've contacted a place of venue for dates we wiill probably be posting on facebook too.

Well BlackBob....nothing is set in stone yet as numbers are low...The idea has been posted on other sites i.e facebook but alas...little response. We were thinking BIG but may end up having something a little more low key...A couple of friends who i've dicussed this with live in Glasgow and are going to look for suitable venues but its early days. We need a party..and we need one soon.
